Volt is a typeface inspired by neon signage and the process of creating them. Typically, neon glass tubes inter-connect to form a word or picture in one fluid line. Each character is created by bending one stroke until it forms the desired letter. The use of implied lines was essential for the viewer to understand and read each character.
